Desktop Lasers

 Our Desktop is a compact and economical entry level platform that offers a material processing envelope of 16 x 12" (VLS 2.30) or  24" x 12" (VLS3.50) equipped with one of five 10.6µ CO2 laser sources ranging in power from 10 to 50 watts or one 9.3µ CO2 30 watt or 50 watt laser source. 

VLS Platform Series

This Platform is a free-standing platform with a material processing envelope of 32 x 18" (VLS6.60), 24 x 18" (VLS4.60) & 24 x 12" (VLS3.60). The single laser platform supports a 10.6µ CO2 laser source ranging in power from 10 to 60 watts or one 9.3µ CO2 30 watt or 50 watt laser source. 

PLS Series

 The PLS Series a free-standing platform with a materials processing envelope of 32 x 18" that supports dual lasers. As a dual laser platform, the PLS6.150 can support up to two 10.6µ CO2 lasers with a power range of 10 watts to 150 watts. This machines offers i/o capabillites.

ILS Series

 The ILS Series is a free-standing platform with a materials processing envelope of 48 x 24" (ILS 12.) & 36 x 24" (ILS 9.). The single laser platform supports either one 10.6u CO2 laser (10 to 75 watts) or one 9.3µ CO2 laser (30, 50 or 75 watts). The dual laser platform supports up to 150 watts.


PLS MultiWave

 The PLS6MW (Multi-Wavelength) is a free-standing platform uses multiple laser wavelengths to process the broadest possible spectrum of materials and supports either CO2 or fiber lasers. The PLS6MW has a materials processing envelope of 32" x 18"). With Universal’s Rapid Reconfiguration technology, any one of the following lasers can be used: one 10.6u CO2 laser (available from 10 to 75 watts); one 9.3u CO2 laser (available in 30, 50 or 75 watts); one 1.06u fiber laser (available in 40 and 50 watts) 

XLS Series

 The XLS10 consists of the newest and highest performance laser material processing solutions designed for highest acceleration and speed plus highest precision and accuracy. The new Laser System Manager™ control and management software gives the user the best usability in any environment from R&D to production. With Universal’s Rapid Reconfiguration technology, any of the following lasers can be used: 10.6u CO2 lasers (available from 10 to 75 watts for a total power of up to 150 watts); 10.6u CO2 laser and 9.3u CO2 laser (available in 30, 50 or 75 watts). 1.06u fiber laser (available in 40 and 50 watts) can also be used.
